Engineering that Drives the Energy Future

Representaciones Mecánico Eléctricas S.A. (REMESA) is a company specialized in the design, supply, and construction of power generation plants. Our multidisciplinary team brings extensive experience in international projects.

We were born with the mission to drive the energy transition, promoting the replacement of traditional systems and fostering the growth of renewable energy in our region.

Large-Scale Solar Energy

Solar modules are devices designed to capture solar radiation and convert it into electrical energy through numerous photovoltaic cells.

In our projects, we use high-efficiency technology based on 72-cell polycrystalline silicon modules, with power ratings of 300W and 305W, installed on fixed structures tilted at 15° and oriented 0° to the south to maximize solar capture. A total of 240,240 solar panels were installed, ensuring optimal distribution and outstanding energy performance.

High-Performance Electrical Infrastructure

Electrical substations are essential facilities for transforming voltage levels, frequency, number of phases, or interconnecting multiple electrical circuits.

They are strategically located, either near power generation plants or on the outskirts of consumption zones. In urban environments, installing them inside buildings helps optimize space and minimize visual impact, while in rural areas, outdoor installations are more common.

At REMESA, our team of experts designs and builds substations tailored to the needs of each environment, following the highest standards of quality and safety.

Next-Generation Hydroelectric Power

The La Vegona Hydroelectric Project harnesses the waters of the Humuya or Comayagua River to generate renewable energy, supplying electricity to more than 46,000 Honduran households.

This plant represents the largest hydroelectric development in Honduras since the construction of El Cajón in 1985, significantly contributing to the replacement of fossil fuel-based plants.

Located 8 km downstream from the Francisco Morazán project (El Cajón), La Vegona maximizes the potential of a 94 km² reservoir with a capacity of 5.7 billion cubic meters, establishing itself as a key pillar of the national energy matrix.
We are ready to assist you.

At REMESA, we connect innovation, efficiency, and commitment to lead the transition toward a more sustainable world.
